Local Travel Registered Nurse – Special Procedures - Lawrenceville, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shifts | Varies | Occasional Saturday Shift | On-Call 2–3x/Month
Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,000 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is actively seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Registered Nurse for a 13-week local travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an advanced healthcare team in a dynamic procedural environment, offering excellent pay and a balanced schedule with varied shifts.
Position Overview:
As a Special Procedures RN, you will support interventional radiology, cardiology, endoscopy, and other specialized diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. This role requires critical thinking, quick responsiveness, and a high level of clinical expertise in procedural support and patient monitoring.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care during complex diagnostic and interventional procedures

Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures
-
Administer moderate sedation and maintain airway safety
-
Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and anesthesia providers

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
-
Prepare and maintain sterile fields and assist with instrument handling
-
Participate in rotating on-call shifts (2–3 per month based on department staffing)
Education and Certification Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia – Required
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, IR, or Endoscopy – Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Required
