Local Travel Registered Nurse – Wound Care (WOCN) - Lawrenceville, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,190 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing partner, is seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse (WOCN) for a 13-week local travel contract in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Position Overview:
The Wound Care RN will provide expert assessment, treatment, and education related to wounds, ostomies, and continence care. The ideal candidate is board-certified in wound care and demonstrates clinical excellence, autonomy, and patient advocacy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced wound and skin assessments and develop individualized care plans

  • Administer appropriate wound treatments and evaluate healing progress

  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for ostomy patients

  • Educate patients and families on wound care, ostomy management, and prevention strategies

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection control protocols

  • Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff in wound and ostomy care

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia – Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in wound and ostomy care – Required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Required

  • Certification as CWON® or CWOCN® – Required
