Local Travel Respiratory Therapist – RRT - Nights - Atlanta, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every 3rd Weekend Required
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,085 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a nationally recognized recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a local travel contract with one of our trusted hospital partners in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RRTs looking to elevate their clinical practice while staying local and earning top-tier pay.
Position Overview:
This role is best suited for a highly motivated Respiratory Therapist with strong clinical skills and experience in acute care settings. Candidates must be credentialed and licensed in the state of Georgia and ready to jump into a fast-paced hospital environment.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions for acute and chronic respiratory illnesses

Operate and manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
-
Perform respiratory assessments, monitor patient progress, and modify care plans as needed
-
Respond to emergency codes and assist in rapid response and trauma situations
-
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes
-
Accurately document treatments and patient responses in the EMR system
-
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment usage
Education and Certification Requirements:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) – Required
-
Credentialed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) through the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners – Required
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Required
-
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA Required
-
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA Required
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
