Local Travel Respiratory Therapist - Days - Cumming, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,085 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking an experienced and credentialed Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week local travel contract with one of our respected hospital partners in Cumming, Georgia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled RT looking for steady weekend shifts and a chance to make a clinical impact close to home.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver high-quality respiratory care across diverse patient populations. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, fast decision-making, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy procedures and treatments as prescribed by physicians

  • Perform ventilator management, airway care, and emergency respiratory interventions

  • Assess patient responses and adjust therapy plans as needed

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide integrated care

  • Document therapy procedures and patient progress accurately in the EMR

  • Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with infection control standards

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) – Required

  • Active license to practice as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia – Required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Required

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care respiratory therapy setting – Required
