  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved Respiratory Therapist program
  • Certifications Requirements: Valid Georgia Respiratory Care Practitioner license, BLS certification, NBRC - RRT credential
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting; experience with adult and pediatric patients preferred
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour shifts, strong communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability to varying schedules

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary, documenting all interventions accurately within the electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement effective respiratory therapy plans.
