Travel/Contract Stroke Center Radiation Therapist – Winston-Salem, North Carolina
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $2,700 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join a Stroke Center team for a 13-week travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a highly specialized care setting while working with state-of-the-art technology and a compassionate interdisciplinary team.
Job Description – Radiation Therapist Responsibilities

Administer targeted radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists

Operate linear accelerators and other advanced radiologic equipment
-
Accurately position patients and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures
-
Monitor and record treatment responses, side effects, and any changes in patient condition
-
Maintain precise documentation and uphold strict safety protocols and compliance standards
-
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
-
Support patients and families throughout the treatment process with empathy and professionalism
Licensure & Certifications Required

BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
-
ARRT-RT – Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Education Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field

Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred
