Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Surgical Tech - CVOR First Assist for an immediate opening in Wausau, Wisconsin. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your skills, explore new locations, and make a significant impact on the community!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular operations, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
  • Support surgeons by providing hands-on assistance during procedures, including suturing, clamping, and retracting.
  • Prepare the operating room and ensure it is maintained in a sterile condition.
  • Monitor patients’ vitals and ensure their safety throughout the procedure.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Valid and current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CVOR Surgical Tech First Assist.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Previous Travel/Per diem experience preferred but not required.
