Local Travel Surgical Technologist | Atlanta, GA

Connected Health Care is seeking a Local Travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA. This is a great opportunity for skilled surgical techs looking to work in a fast-paced operating room while advancing their careers in a top-tier surgical facility.

Job Details

  • Position: Local Travel Surgical Technologist
  • Location: Atlanta, GA
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and organize sterile surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
  • Anticipate surgeon needs and respond quickly to changes during operations.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical instruments and biohazard materials.
  • Work in multiple surgical specialties, including Ortho, GYN, Robotics, Plastics, ENT, and Urology.
  • Document and maintain accurate surgical records using Cerner EMR.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • Surgical Tech Certification (NBSTA or NCCT) – Required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgical Technology – Required
  • Proficiency in Cerner EMR – Preferred
