Travel Surgical Technologist | Concord, NC

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,950 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist to join a respected healthcare facility in Concord, North Carolina. Position Summary
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing operating rooms, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring safe and efficient surgical care. This role requires advanced knowledge of orthopedic cases and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare operating rooms with appropriate instruments, equipment, and supplies

  • Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, with a strong focus on orthopedic cases

  • Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control practices

  • Ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and available as needed

  • Handle surgical instruments and specimens safely and accurately

  • Monitor surgical supplies and assist with inventory control

  • Provide support to the surgical team before, during, and after procedures

  • Accurately complete all required documentation and maintain patient safety standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Surgical Technologist experience (flexible for strong candidates)

  • BLS certification required

  • Surgical Technologist certification preferred

  • Strong orthopedic experience required (must have Ortho – FIRM)

  • Excellent knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and surgical procedures

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
