Travel Surgical Technologist – Charlotte, NC
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,950/WK! (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel Surgical Technologist for a 26-week contract opportunity in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role offers a chance to gain valuable travel experience in a supportive surgical team environment while enjoying everything the Queen City has to offer.
Job Description
- Assist surgeons and operating room staff during a variety of surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field and ensure instruments are available and functioning
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide instruments, sutures, and supplies as required
- Verify equipment, supplies, and implants prior to surgery
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols to ensure patient safety
- Accurately document surgical counts, patient information, and procedure details
- Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons to provide exceptional patient care
Education and Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or successful completion of military training required
- Active BLS certification required
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1 year of surgical tech experience in specialty required
