Local Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse – Pikeville, KY
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,340 (based on experience)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 12-Hour Days
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a local travel assignment in Pikeville, Kentucky. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work with a reputable healthcare facility that plays a vital role in trauma care, while exploring the natural beauty and cultural richness of Eastern Kentucky.
Job Description:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs in telemetry patients
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions when needed
- Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records system
Requirements:
- Active KY or Compact Registered Nurse License
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Certification
- Must pass EKG test during compliance process
- Minimum of 2 years recent telemetry RN experience
- Experience in Level I or II Trauma Center required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday
