Job Description

Travel Ultrasound Physician – 13-Week Contract - Lawton, Oklahoma

Connected Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Travel Ultrasound Physician for a 13-week contract assignment with one of our established healthcare partners in Lawton, OK. This role is ideal for a board-certified physician experienced in ultrasound diagnostics who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment and is ready to take on an impactful short-term opportunity.

Job Description:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic ultrasound procedures in various clinical settings

  • Provide accurate, timely readings and reports to referring physicians and medical teams

  • Evaluate imaging results and recommend additional diagnostic tools or follow-up care as needed

  • Maintain detailed documentation and uphold standards of care and patient safety

  • Collaborate with radiology and sonography staff to ensure high-quality imaging and workflow efficiency

  • Support quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the department

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Board Certification in Radiology, Emergency Medicine, or relevant specialty with ultrasound proficiency

  • Current, unrestricted Oklahoma Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start)

  • Advanced training or certification in diagnostic ultrasound preferred

  • Current BLS/ACLS certifications required
