Job Description

• Perform ultrasound imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes as directed by a physician.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and review patient records for accurate assessment and quality care.
• Document and report findings to the physician, maintaining clear and precise medical records.

Education and Certification Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Certification: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) in Abdominal or OB/GYN ultrasound required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic sonography preferred.
