Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technician for an exciting opportunity in Atlanta, GA. This 13-week contract offers competitive pay, professional growth, and the chance to explore one of the most dynamic cities in the country.
Job Description:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging to assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal imaging quality.
- Evaluate and analyze scan results to ensure accurate interpretation.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Requirements:
- ARDMS certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required.
- Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
