Travel Ultrasound Technician – Days - Atlanta, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,295 (Based on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Ultrasound Technician to join the team at a top healthcare facility in Atlanta, Georgia. This 13-week travel assignment offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the chance to explore one of the most vibrant cities in the Southeast.

Job Description:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for patients, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular imaging

  • Collaborate with physicians to assess images and provide technical support

  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort

  • Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain accurate records of patient exams

  • Ensure all imaging equipment is well-maintained and calibrated

  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols

  • Provide high-quality images and clear diagnostic reports for physicians

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

  • Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required

  • BLS certification required

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician in a hospital or clinical setting

  • Strong technical skills and ability to work with ultrasound equipment
