Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Certifications Requirements: ARDMS or CCI Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS); BLS certification; EPIC experience preferred
  • Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience; previous outpatient and inpatient clinic experience preferred; familiarity with EPIC EMR system
  • Other Requirements: Ability to float to outpatient lab at High Point if needed; excellent communication skills; ability to work rotating weekends and work holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas Day; valid driver’s license; pass background check and compliance requirements

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality vascular ultrasound imaging to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions.
  • Operate and troubleshoot vascular ultrasound equipment, including Philips Epic Elite and Parks PVR/Segmental Pressures machines.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient records within the EPIC EMR system, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant with facility standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and department staff to deliver efficient patient care and support during diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and adherence to protocols within the vascular laboratory and outpatient lab settings.
