Local Travel Vascular Technician – Woodruff, WI
Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled Vascular Technician for a 13-week local travel contract in Woodruff, WI. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic healthcare setting while enjoying the beauty of northern Wisconsin.
Job Details
- Contract Length:Â 13 weeks
- Start Date:Â ASAP
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week:Â 40 hours
- Shift Requirements:Â 8-hour day shifts (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Weekend/Holiday Requirements:Â None required
- On-Call/Call-Back Requirements:Â No call
Job Description
- Perform echocardiography (echo) procedures on both inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Work independently to conduct up to 8 echoes per day.
- Collaborate with medical teams to interpret results and ensure high-quality imaging.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment efficiently.
- Ensure accurate documentation in Epic Charting (preferred).
- Adapt to changes in scheduling and patient needs.
- Work as the sole technician within the unit.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in an allied health field preferred.
- ARDMS RDCS or CCI certification required.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in echocardiography required.
- No vascular or general ultrasound experience needed.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in echocardiography procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage patient schedules effectively.
- Hardworking, adaptable, and able to manage change well.
- Friendly and social candidates preferred.
Dress Code
- Scrubs in any color are permitted.
