Local Travel Wound Care RN – South of San Jose, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,400 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Local Travel Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our partner facility in San Jose, California. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive team in a beautiful Central California location.
Position Overview
As a Wound Care RN, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing wound care treatment plans for patients across a variety of clinical settings. You’ll work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal healing and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer wound care procedures including dressing changes, debridement, and pressure injury prevention
- Educate patients and families on wound management, infection prevention, and post-discharge care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with facility and state regulations
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
Education & Certification Requirements
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License
- Certified Wound Nurse with proven prior experience in wound care
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of wound care nursing experience preferred

- Strong clinical judgment and wound care expertise
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
