Job Description:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as prescribed by physicians.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images.
• Ensure proper patient preparation and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of images and patient information.
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients, yourself, and staff from radiation exposure.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret images and ensure accurate results.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain one.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
