Travel Critical Access Registered Nurse – 3x12 Night Shifts – Kellogg, Idaho
Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Kellogg, Idaho to find a Travel Critical Access Registered Nurse for 3x12 night shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Critical Access RN to work in a rural setting, providing high-quality care in ER, Med-Surg, and Long-Term Care (LTC) units. Job Description:
- Provide direct patient care in a Critical Access Hospital setting, including ER, Med-Surg, and LTC units.
- Assess and monitor patients, administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform triage and emergency care in the ER for a variety of trauma and medical conditions.
- Manage a diverse caseload in Med-Surg, including patients recovering from surgery, injuries, and illnesses.
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care in Long-Term Care settings, assisting patients with daily living activities and monitoring chronic conditions.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.
- Respond to emergencies in a critical care environment, providing immediate interventions and managing patient care.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with all infection control, regulatory, and safety standards.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Active RN License required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications are preferred but not required.
- Critical Access Nursing experience in ER, Med-Surg, and LTC required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Critical Access settings preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Critical Access RN.
- Ability to provide patient care across ER, Med-Surg, and LTC settings.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a wide variety of patient conditions in a rural healthcare setting.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and provide immediate care in critical situations.
- Comfortable working in critical access environments, with the ability to handle a variety of patient needs independently.
