Travel Culinary Cook (LTC Setting) – Earn Up to $900 Weekly
We're hiring a dependable Travel Culinary Cook to support the dietary team at a reputable Long-Term Care facility near Stuart, Nebraska. This is a 13-week travel contract offering a 3x12s schedule with multiple shifts available. The assignment begins ASAP, so if you're experienced in healthcare food service, this opportunity is for you.
Pay Rate: $25/hour — Weekly compensation up to $900
Assignment Details:
Contract role in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting
13-week travel assignment with the possibility of renewal
3x12-hour shifts per week — shift flexibility available
Immediate start for qualified candidates
Stable hours and weekly direct deposit
Core Responsibilities:
Cook and serve nutritious meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs
Keep kitchen and prep areas clean and compliant with safety standards
Properly receive and store food deliveries and inventory
Follow diet orders and menus provided by the facility’s dietitian
Collaborate with dietary staff and healthcare team to maintain food quality
Observe all sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 6 months’ experience working in a cook or dietary role, preferably in a senior care or medical facility
Familiarity with therapeutic diets and basic nutrition
Strong time management skills and kitchen safety awareness
Team player with a positive attitude
Preferred but Not Required:
Food Handler's or ServSafe Certification
CPR certification
