Travel Dietary Aide / Cook (LTC Setting) – Make Up to $900 Weekly
We’re looking for a committed Travel Dietary Aide / Cook to support daily kitchen operations at a trusted Long-Term Care facility near Stuart, Nebraska. This is a 13-week travel contract with a 3x12s schedule, available across multiple shifts, and starts ASAP. If you’re a motivated kitchen assistant, cook, or food service worker with LTC or healthcare experience, we’d love to connect with you.
Hourly Pay: $25 | Weekly Pay: Up to $900
Position Highlights:
Temporary travel position in a long-term care environment
13-week contract with consistent weekly hours
3 shifts per week, each 12 hours; flexible scheduling
Immediate start available
Supportive, resident-focused kitchen team
Key Responsibilities:
Cook and portion meals based on pre-set menus and nutritional plans
Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food prep areas
Store food properly and ensure accurate stock rotation
Accommodate special diets and dietary modifications for residents
Coordinate with dietary managers and nursing staff
Follow all health and food safety protocols
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a kitchen, dietary, or food service role (healthcare experience preferred)
Understanding of basic nutrition and special diet prep
Ability to work well under pressure and handle fast-paced kitchen environments
Reliable and detail-oriented team player
Preferred Certifications:
Valid Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe
CPR certification is a plus
