Job Description

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic studies, including 2D and Doppler imaging, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms.

• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.

• Collaborate with cardiologists to review and interpret imaging results.

• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is clean and functional.

• Document and report findings accurately in the electronic medical record system.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

• Provide excellent patient care and uphold the facility's standards of excellence.

Education & Certification Requirements

• Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology.

• ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography is required.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist preferred.

• Proficiency with echocardiography equipment and electronic health records.
