Job Description
As a Travel ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Key duties include:

  • Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to any changes in patient condition.
  • Administer Medications & Treatments: Accurately administer medications, therapies, and necessary treatments to ICU patients.
  • Develop Care Plans: Create individualized care plans and update them based on patient progress and evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other staff to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and families on care processes, post-discharge needs, and other important information.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
  • Certifications:
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
    • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred
