This is a perfect position for an experienced IR Tech looking for a new contract role in a dynamic medical setting.

Job Description
As a Travel Interventional Radiology Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting radiologists with complex imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing optimal patient care. Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Assist the radiologist with image-guided procedures, ensuring quality imaging.
• Monitor and document patients' status and responses during procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and sterile techniques.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Education and Certification Requirements

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
• Advanced ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) preferred.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology.
