Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Tucson, AZ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a top-tier healthcare provider in Tucson, AZ, to find a skilled Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. This opportunity is perfect for an RN looking to gain valuable experience in a new location while making a positive impact on patients' lives. Please note: Candidates with an AZ address on their driver's license will not be considered.
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns during the delivery process.
- Monitor and manage labor progression, identifying and responding to any complications.
- Assist with epidurals, labor inductions, and cesarean sections as necessary.
- Educate and support mothers and their families throughout the birthing process.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- NRP certification preferred.
- BSN preferred but not required.
