Job Description:

• Provide high-quality care to laboring patients and assist with deliveries in various healthcare settings.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Assist with labor induction, delivery, and post-delivery care, including newborn assessments.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate and support patients and families through the labor and delivery process.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage pain relief methods as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and comprehensively.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe delivery environment.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience.
• Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain one.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Strong clinical skills, compassionate patient care, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
