Local Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Near Sturgis, SD | 13-Week Contract | Up to $1,720/Week (DOE)

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a local travel assignment near Sturgis, South Dakota. If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity in a historic and vibrant area, this contract role is an excellent fit!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physical Therapists in executing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises

  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

  • Provide support in functional training, mobility enhancement, and injury prevention

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program

  • Active South Dakota PTA license or eligibility to obtain

  • CPR/BLS Certification required

  • Previous clinical experience preferred but not required
