Local Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Near Spearfish, SD
13-Week Contract | Up to $2,800/Week (DOE)

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a local travel assignment near Spearfish, South Dakota. This 13-week contract offers excellent pay and the chance to work with a supportive team in a picturesque community nestled in the Black Hills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational/physical therapists, and other care team members

  • Document patient progress and adjust therapy as needed

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and strategies

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current SLP license in South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred

  • BLS certification required

  • Minimum of 1 year of SLP experience preferred
