As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Provide support to residents during meals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Follow care plans and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certification: Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Licensure: Must have an active CNA license in the state of Virginia or be eligible for licensure.
• Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Other Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as CPR are a plus.
