Job Title: Travel Pharmacist - Medford, WI

Job Description:

• Review and dispense medications in accordance with physician prescriptions and hospital guidelines
• Provide patient education on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and therapeutic outcomes
• Conduct medication therapy management and monitor patient responses to treatment
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and maintain accurate records of medications dispensed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of pharmacy protocols

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Wisconsin or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, therapeutic dosing, and clinical pharmacology
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
