Local/Travel Physical Therapist Assistant – PTA -  Watkins, MN
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,590 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a dedicated Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract in Watkins, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a supportive clinical environment while exploring a welcoming small-town community.

Job Description:

  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans

  • Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patient mobility and function

  • Observe and document patient progress and responses to treatment

  • Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient care

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and facility protocols

  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care instructions

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Current PTA license in the state of Minnesota (or ability to obtain)

  • CPR Certification

  • Prior clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
