Weekly Compensation: Up to $10,200/week (based on experience)
Job Description: As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will play a critical role in the safe administration of anesthesia during surgical procedures, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients throughout their treatment.
- Administer anesthesia agents and adjust dosage as required during surgery
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels before, during, and after procedures
- Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure the patient’s safety and comfort
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, evaluating medical histories, allergies, and current health status
- Assess patients’ reactions to anesthesia and adjust treatment as needed
- Provide post-operative care to monitor recovery from anesthesia
- Educate patients on the anesthesia process, addressing concerns and providing information
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and safety protocols
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Active CRNA Certification from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
- Current RN License in South Dakota
- Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA in a clinical setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative surgical setting
