Job Description:

• Perform MRI imaging procedures following departmental protocols
• Prepare patients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting issues as necessary
• Ensure accurate imaging and work collaboratively with the radiology team
• Record and document patient information accurately within hospital systems
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, including infection control

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program
• Current ARRT (MR) certification
• Valid state license to practice as an MRI Technologist (as required in Vermont)
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a clinical setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of MRI procedures and safety protocols
• Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different hospital environments
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to patient safety
