Job Description:
- Perform MRI scans and procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Calibrate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring peak operational performance.
- Accurately document procedures and complete reports.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality care.
- Adhere to all safety standards, including radiation safety protocols.
- Provide patient education regarding MRI procedures as needed.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
- ARRT (MRI) certification required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
