Description:
Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a local contract position in Akron, Ohio. This role is with one of our esteemed clients and offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including blood and urine analyses, to assist in diagnosing and treating patients.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in test results.
- Interpret test results and communicate findings to healthcare providers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory.
- Document and record test results and maintain patient confidentiality.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is mandatory.
