Contract Details:

  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift: Night shift (3x12s)

  • Facility Type: Acute Care Medical Center

  • Compensation: $2,300/week

Job Description

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of our trusted acute care partners in Bismarck, ND. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced med-surg unit, collaborating with physicians, allied health staff, and other nurses to ensure optimal outcomes for a diverse patient population.

You’ll be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on recovery and wellness. This is a great opportunity for an adaptable RN who thrives in a supportive yet dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to med-surg patients in an acute care setting.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Accurately document patient status, treatments, and progress in EMR systems.

  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions.

  • Provide patient and family education on post-discharge care.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (ND or compact state).

  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required).

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Med Surg/Acute Care experience.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
