Job Description:

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and SPECT scans.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitor their effects.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine.
• Valid state licensure for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
