Job Description: As a Travel/Contract Progressive Care Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and intervention. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and providing personalized care
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Managing complex patient cases, including post-surgical recovery and chronic illnesses
• Using advanced medical equipment and technology to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Providing education to patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans

Education + Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with commitment to pursue BSN
• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
• Certification in Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) or related specialty preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive care or similar nursing experience
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities
• Adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environments
