Job Description:

• Serve as the circulator in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and assisting the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to prepare the OR and ensure sterile techniques are maintained.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, providing critical support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring everything is ready and available for procedures.
• Document all aspects of the surgical procedure, including patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Montana.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing, particularly in circulating roles.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
