Job Description:

• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve their ability to perform daily activities.
• Implement therapy interventions tailored to each patient's conditions and monitor their progress.
• Educate patients and family members on the therapy process and set realistic goals for recovery.
• Utilize various therapy techniques to manage pain and physical problems caused by injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Oregon Occupational Therapy license.
• Lymphedema Certification required.
• Minimum of two years of occupational therapy experience, preferably in multiple clinical settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently.
