Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Certifications Requirements: CPR/BLS certification, State OT licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, 1-3 years preferred
- Other Requirements: Excellent communication skills, ability to perform assessments, flexibility in scheduling, ability to work in a long-term care setting

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with intellectual disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure residents' therapeutic needs are met effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Execute therapeutic interventions during scheduled shifts, ensuring compliance with facility policies and patient safety.
- Adapt therapy approaches as needed to accommodate residents' unique needs and responses, maintaining a flexible and patient-centric approach.
