Travel Occupational Therapist – South Dakota (Critical Access / LTC)
Connected Health Care | 13-Week Contract | Day Shift | 5x8s

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) looking to explore new settings while making a meaningful impact? Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract at a Critical Access Facility in beautiful South Dakota.

This is a day shift position offering a consistent 40-hour work week with a 5x8 schedule in a mixed inpatient and outpatient setting within a long-term care environment.

Position Details:

  • Position: Travel Occupational Therapist

  • Location: South Dakota

  • Setting: Critical Access Hospital + Long-Term Care

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift: Days – 5x8s

  • Hours: 40 hours/week (Guaranteed)

  • Patient Population: Inpatient & Outpatient

  • Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

  • Develop individualized care plans based on evaluations and patient goals.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.

  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and at-home exercises.

Requirements:

  • Active OT license in South Dakota (or eligible for quick reciprocity)

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

  • BLS Certification

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in OT preferred, but strong new grads will be considered.

  • Experience in rural, LTC, or critical access settings is a plus.
