Travel OR Registered Nurse – 13 Weeks

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel OR Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for RNs to gain valuable experience in a well-established facility while working in a beautiful New England location.
Job Description:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting, assisting in surgical procedures, patient assessments, and monitoring patient status throughout the perioperative process.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain sterile technique and safety protocols to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Document patient information accurately and comply with all healthcare regulations.
- Monitor and operate specialized equipment and devices required for surgery.
- Handle pre-op and post-op care, including patient preparation and recovery assessment.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Current RN license in Massachusetts (or compact state license).
- Required: BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Preferred: CNOR certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience; travel nursing experience is a plus.
