Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse (PACU RN) for a client in Bandon, OR. Job Description:

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local.
• Assess patients’ post-operative vital signs, pain levels, and medication needs.
• Provide intensive care and interventions to ensure a safe recovery from surgery.
• Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and potential complications.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patients' health during recovery.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant nursing and facility guidelines and regulations.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current RN license with the ability to practice in Oregon.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or ICU setting.
• Strong understanding of recovery room protocols and patient assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
