Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care – Nights – 4x12
Location: Carrington, North Dakota
Setting: Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
Shift: Nights, 4x12s (48 hours/week)
Start Date: 2–3 weeks from offer (flexible)
Position Overview
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a long?term care/skilled nursing facility in Carrington, ND. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys working with geriatric populations, providing consistent, relationship based care in a smaller community setting.
You’ll work night shift on a 4x12 schedule (48 hours per week), supporting residents with chronic and post acute needs alongside a stable, collaborative care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long term care/skilled nursing environment.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and update care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with facility policies.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to providers.
- Support ADLs, restorative care, and chronic disease management for geriatric residents.
- Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Partner with CNAs and other staff to ensure a safe, supportive environment for residents and families.
Minimum Requirements
- License:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or compact RN license in good standing.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent RN experience in long term care, skilled nursing, or a similar geriatric setting.
- Prior travel experience is a plus but not required.
- Certifications:
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- Other:
- Comfortable working night shift on a 4x12 schedule with rotating weekends.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with the geriatric population.
