Your Role: As a Registered Nurse (NICU) in Springfield, you'll have the incredible opportunity to provide specialized care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the well-being of premature and critically ill infants through expert nursing care.
- Monitoring vital signs and administering medications as required.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver the highest quality care.
- Providing guidance and support to parents during their newborns' hospital stay.
- Upholding best practices in neonatal nursing to optimize patient outcomes.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN/ASN) from an accredited institution.
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Preferred NICU certification, but not required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to the well-being of neonatal patients and their families.
