Travel MS/Tele RN – 12-Hour Day Shifts – Bandon, Oregon

Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Bandon, Oregon to find a Travel MS/Tele RN for 12-hour day shifts. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nurses to provide high-quality care to patients while enjoying the beautiful coastal environment of Oregon.

Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, monitoring vital signs, telemetry readings, and lab results.
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients with a variety of medical conditions, including cardiac and respiratory issues, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
• Telemetry experience and certification preferred.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
• Proficiency in managing patients with chronic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and acute medical conditions requiring monitoring.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients.
