Travel MS/Tele RN – 12-Hour Evening Shifts – Appleton, Wisconsin
Connected Health Care is partnering with a renowned healthcare facility in Appleton, Wisconsin to find a Travel MS/Tele RN for 12-hour evening shifts. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nurses who are looking to work in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Job Description:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry floors.
- Monitor vital signs, telemetry readings, and patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions and act swiftly to provide appropriate interventions.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
- Educate patients and families on disease management, post-discharge care, and health promotion strategies.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control and hospital safety protocols.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Active RN License required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Telemetry experience and certification preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
- Experience in continuous monitoring of patients with complex conditions.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for working with patients and healthcare teams.
