Travel OR RN – 10-Hour Day Shifts – Appleton, Wisconsin

Connected Health Care is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Appleton, Wisconsin to find a Travel OR RN for 10-hour day shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operating room nurses to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, providing surgical support for a variety of procedures.

Job Description:

• Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room for scheduled and emergency surgeries.
• Provide direct nursing care during surgeries, including patient positioning, sterile field maintenance, and monitoring vitals.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure that all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are properly sterilized and organized.
• Document patient status, procedures performed, and post-operative care in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Maintain patient safety by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Support pre- and post-operative care, including patient education on recovery procedures.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience required.

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of Operating Room nursing experience.
• Proficiency in maintaining sterile techniques and assisting during surgeries.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork skills.
